The area around Gosau is a well-known hotspot for beautiful landscape and natural as well as cultural history in Austria. In the neighborhood you may discover beautiful lakes, places to go fishing, nature reserves, different kinds of caves, an old salt mine to visit, Bad Ischl, the former summer residence of the emperor, the UNESCO world heritage city Hallstatt as well as traditional museums and cultural happenings throughout the year.
